they provided him with copies of the books of Plato, Aristotle, Hippocrates, Galen, Euclid, and Ptolemy as well as those of other philosophers.He hired the ablest translators and charged them to do their best in translating these books, which they did. Then he encouraged his people to read and to stude them. As a result of his efforts, a scientific movement was firmly established during his reign.
